What Meridian is

Meridian is the scenario-infrastructure product from Sosa Research. It models exponential change in technology, economics, politics, and ecology across nine geopolitical zones from 2020 to 2050.

About the predictions

Forecasts, scenarios, and probability estimates published on this site are research output. They are produced by statistical models, large-language models, and human judgment, scored against held-out outcomes, and disclosed with their provenance.

They are not financial, legal, medical, or political advice. No forecast on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, vote, hire, fire, build, divest, evacuate, or any other material action. Do not rely on this site for decisions where the cost of being wrong is high without independent corroboration.

Calibration and limits

Model outputs may be wrong, stale, or biased. Calibration is measured continuously against resolved outcomes and published on the methodology page; review it before relying on a number. Long-horizon forecasts, especially those crossing the singularity event horizon, are speculative by design and are labelled accordingly.

The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We will correct errors when surfaced, but make no commitment that any specific forecast will be revised on any specific cadence.

What Meridian is not

Meridian is not a satellite-imagery, terrain-mapping, or photogrammetry provider. Map and globe surfaces are visualization layers over open data, not survey-grade geospatial products.
